The Miss Universe pageant will be held in the Philippines on January 29th! Contestants from over 90 Countries will be competing for the prestigious title of Miss Universe. The last Miss Universe pageant was held in Las Vegas, where PiaWurtzbach was crowned. The Philippines is home to Pia , and last hosted the Miss Universe pageant back in 1974.
Last years Miss Universe pageant was one for the record books when host Steve Harvey, announced the wrong winner. If you don't remember, he announced Colombia as the winner instead of Philippines. After he realized his mistake he corrected it on stage. That moment was seen live by millions and constantly played online, and talked about for weeks after the pageant. It has been rumored that Steve Harvey will be hosting the pageant in January which I'm sure would pull in record views from around the world. Will you be watching ?
